i n t r o U'zhan is a tribal male at heart, he grew up in the Sagolii desert among his tribe at The Forgotten Springs where he learned to hunt and fight. As an adult U'zhan is often found around Ul'dah when he's not working the forge as a smith or out on some job or hunt.

a master smith with over twenty years of experience, u'zhan's primary expertise lay within the mundane working and identification of metals. while he specializes in blade smithing, he has years of experience in armoring as well as using eastern techniques to create weapons like katanas. his greatest work to date is his axe called mistcarver, a weapon he personally continues to use and carry to this day. beyond the axe, he regularly creates works with detailed etchings for enchantment and rune-work. while he cant make the runes themselves, if the design is supplied to him he's been able to etch it reliably into metal for a skilled arcanist or magic user to imbue with power.

a fighter not by soulstone, but by culture. while u'zhan doesn't carry a warrior's soulstone, he's been raised to fight since childhood. his primary weapon is choice is the two handed great axe, he's well capable of fighting with hand axes, hatchets, spears, lances, swords, twin blades. beyond weapons, he's made use of a length of enchanted chain that burns hot like fire when he pours aether through its length and entangles foes.

as a proud member of the U tribe, u'zhan has been taught to hunt, forage, and survive in the desert since he was able to walk. drakes, sandworms, and deep desert dwelling fauna are a familiar quarry. despite not living full time within the forgotten springs, he's never forgotten his heritage and still enjoys a hunt whether it be within the forest, or the plains.

fellow miqo'te of the U tribe from the forgotten springs might know U'zhan from childhood to early teenage years. They may know of his twin teenage daughters that still live there there, or his sister whom also still resides at the forgotten springs. while he's not an active member now, he still visits regularly for family.
